Battle Pack| « Thread Started on Dec 16, 2008, 6:49pm »
Group: Pack
Name: Battle Pack
Unclaimed Land #: 3
Leader: Serkan
Ranks:
(1) Leader - The leader of the pack. What he says goes first. ~Serkan (Diverse)~ (1) Deputy - The second in command. What they say is to be followed at all times unless it conflicts what the leader says. They must have good judgment. ~None~ (1)Lead Warrior - This dinosaur leads the warriors into battle, along with the pack leader. They must be exceptionally good at fighting. They also must be good at figuring out strategies and plans. ~None~ (Unlimited)Warrior - These dinosaurs around to protect the territory and other pack members from attackers, though all dinosaurs are required to do so at times. They also are the primary ones to fight in a retaliation attack. They must be good at fighting. ~Clyra (Jay)~ (1)Lead Hunter - This dinosaur leads hunts when attacking large prey. When attacking smaller prey that only require one hunter, the lead hunter organizes and assigns each hunter an area of the territory to hunt in. They must be good at organizing things. ~None~ (Unlimited)Hunter - The hunters do the majority of the hunting, though all dinosaurs are expected to hunt occasionally. They must be good at hunting. ~None~ (2-3)Healer - The number of healers depends on the number of dinosaurs in the pack. The healers know what plants to use and how the body works. When a female lays eggs, they are to make sure that the mother dinosaur is healthy. When the eggs hatch, they are required to check the new babies to see if they are healthy. After fights, they also must check each pack member that was in the fight. ~None~ (1)Lead Scout - This dinosaur is in charge of the scouts. It must be fast and have sharp eyes and ears to check the land for any trespassers. It also does spy work in retaliation attacks. ~None~ (5)Scout - They must be fast, have sharp eyes, and sharp ears to check the land for trespassers. They also do spy work in retaliation attacks. ~None~ (Unlimited)None - These are dinosaurs who are too young to have a job, too old to have a job, or have yet to choose their job. When females are taking care of their young, they keep their job but a stand in, usually one without a job, will temporarily take their job. ~Metile (Synthetic); Gaiana (Terry)~
Total pack members: 4
Description: Serkan is one large, powerful spinosaur and expects to be treated as such. His word is law and, unless an immediate and very good excuse for disobeying him is presented, your discipline will be presented by a good bite on the back. Disobey him again and your burden on the pack will be lifted in the form of banishment with the sound of fierce roars. Such dinosaurs that are kicked out of the pack will forever be an enemy of Battle Pack and will never be able to cross the border into the pack territory. Should they try, Serkan will use his claws and teeth to chase the dino off. A second time and the pack will be summoned to watch as Serkan rips his enemy apart. On the off chance that the banned pack member will injure Serkan, the rest of the members will be ready to step in. If, at any point, the banned member has evidence to present that they have learned from their mistake, they may roar at the border of the territory and Serkan will give them a short time to explain themselves. If they wish, they may then assume submission, and may or may not be re-admitted to the pack. If they are, they will have the lowest position, even lower than the hatchlings. They will never, as long as they live, be able to raise to a higher rank. They will still be expected to hunt and defend the pack, but will eat last and be last in everything else.
Hatchlings and other young must treat their elders with respect and must eat last. In instances where there is food shortage, young will eat after the leader and deputy, followed by the healers, the warriors, the scouts, the strongest fighters, and finally, everyone else.
All young pack members will be trained in fighting by the warriors. They will spar each other and, eventually, their masters. Older dinosaurs will spar as well. They must fight hard, but be careful not to cause any permanent or long-term damage. All dinosaurs are to see the healers after sparring, even if they do not believe they are injured. Young may not quit training when they are "tired" but must go on until the warrior gives them the okay to stop. Sparring with older dinosaurs will be supervised by the leader and deputy and will take place one at a time, so the other member can watch and learn a thing or two. Sparring continues until one dinosaur is unable to continue or the leader or deputy gives them the okay to stop.
Pack members are encouraged to form relationships so that they work together better in battle to defend their territory. Two-on-Two sparring is done at times to give more experience in this area. Pack members are to treat each other with respect at all times and put their differences aside when hunting or defending, if not able to at other times.
Young will be trained by the fighters to hunt at a young age.
All pack members are expected to share hunting duties. No matter who makes a kill, the eating order will be the same. The leader goes first, then second-in-command, warriors, healers, scouts, fighters, and then the young or any others not in one of those ranks.
Pack members are to defend each other and help each other. If it is not possible to defend all, higher rankings are to be defended first.
Traits: Any are welcome, so long as they aren't totally useless. Those with great minds for strategy, speed for agility, or strength for offense and defense are the most useful, as are well rounded dinos. Those who are not good in one of these areas have slimmer chances of entrance.
