Ranks:

Leader [1] - The Leader of the Pack; Leader of Warrioros
Second in Command [1] - Second behind the Leader; will preside over problems when the Leader is not present
General [1] - Leader of Fighters; Will lead them into Battle
Warriors [6] - The Strongest of the Strong; Do the brunt of the fighting. These are most commonly the biggest ones in the herd, as they are the first ones into battle, besides the leader.
Fighters [Infinate] - Back ups for Warriors; They aid in battle when needed. If your character does not qualify for any of the others, this is thier Rank. An exception of going into battle are females with young children, or bearing eggs, and young or hatchlings, but they are still ranked as Fighters.
Scouts [5] - Scouts are needed to keep an eye out for danger. They are used to patrol the territory and be ready to warn the herd of any danger. Scouts are also used in battle to relay information from one part of the herd to the other.
Healers [2] - Most of the time are females or elders, but can be anyone. These know the plants of the land and know how to use them and which ones to use to aid in pain and quicker healing. (Not magic, just herbs and things of that nature.)

Description:

Jay leads the pack using his intelligence. Every move he decides on has good reason and nothing is done without him thinking upon it, weiging the pros and cons in doing so. He expects every member of the pack to treat him with the respect he so very well deserves and in turn, Jay will give respect to those who earn it. Jay wants order and obedience in his pack. What he says, ultimately goes. But Jay is not one to make harsh decisions. Every decision made is for the benefit of the pack. As a pack, Jay expects cooperation, not just when hunting, but when being directed in what to do. The pack must act as one and be ready to defend one another during a fight. Disputes between members are to be brought before Jay else he punish both.

Young are born into the pack, dependent upon the others to survive. They are raised and taught the ways of the pack and are expected to listen and obey everything told. They are at the bottom of the pyramid and must stay out of the way of everyone, simply watching with thier mothers on how to act as a pack. Upon reaching Juevenile age, the young are allowed to go on thier first hunts. It is also at this time, the Jueveniles are allowed to chose, or chosen for, thier rank in the pack. They may also make the decision to leave the pack in order to find thier own way in life. Leaving the pack, however, will result in automatic banishment from the packs' lands and fierce lashing out if the ex-member should return or try to stay. Rejoining the pack will result in fierce hazing and the former will never regain the respect he would have had.
